We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join a growing FinTech company based in Spain. The company is driving innovation at the intersection of finance and technology, with sustainability embedded in its long-term vision.

About the Role
As a Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and implementing sustainability strategies, supporting companies in their transition towards more environmentally, socially, and governance-responsible models. You will collaborate across teams to integrate ESG frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop innovative, impact-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement sustainability strategies and roadmaps aligned with corporate goals, regulatory frameworks (CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, CS3D), and best practices.
Conduct materiality and double materiality analyses, climate risk assessments, carbon footprint calculations, and decarbonization plans.
Prepare and review sustainability reports in accordance with GRI, ESRS, TCFD, IFRS S1/S2, and other international standards.
Develop ESG reporting systems, sustainability KPIs, and integrated dashboards.
Advise on circular economy, sustainable finance, biodiversity, governance practices, and compliance with regulations such as EUDR and packaging/waste regulations.
Collaborate with product management, R&D, and supply chain teams to drive eco-design and sustainable innovation.
Contribute to the development of internal governance frameworks, policies, and sustainability training programs for clients.
Required Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Sustainable Finance, or related areas.
Minimum of 3–4 years of professional experience in corporate sustainability or ESG consulting.
Strong knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks (GRI, CSRD, ESRS, SASB, IFRS S1/S2, TCFD, etc.).
Experience in sustainability reporting, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Non-Financial Information Statements (EINF), circular economy, and impact metrics.
Advanced English level (C1 or above); additional languages are a plus.
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Valued experience working with clients in the energy, financial, or insurance sectors.
